1. What Simply Startup is

Simply Startup is a discovery and collaboration platform where individuals and groups can publish information about startups, projects and early-stage ideas, and where other users can discover those ideas and offer to get involved. Simply Startup is a communication and discovery service only.

2. What Simply Startup is not

Simply Startup does not process payments, pledges, donations or any other financial transaction. Simply Startup is not a crowdfunding platform, an investment platform, or a broker-dealer, and nothing on the platform should be interpreted as an offer to sell or buy securities. Simply Startup is not a traditional job board or employment agency, and using the platform does not create any employment relationship between Simply Startup and any user.

3. No guarantees

Simply Startup does not vet the business viability of any startup, does not verify every factual claim made by a startup owner or user, and does not guarantee the outcome of any conversation, collaboration or agreement formed through the platform. Startup listings go through a moderation review focused on completeness and platform-guideline compliance — this review is not a certification of quality, legitimacy, or likelihood of success.

4. Agreements between users

Any agreement — regarding compensation, equity, revenue share, contract terms, intellectual property, or anything else — formed between a startup owner and another user is made entirely independently of Simply Startup. Simply Startup is not a party to any such agreement, does not mediate disputes arising from it, and has no visibility into whether either party honours it. Users are strongly encouraged to put agreements in writing, seek independent legal or financial advice where appropriate, and perform their own due diligence before committing time, money or resources to any project discovered on Simply Startup.

5. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you post, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for complying with our Community Guidelines. Accounts found to be posting spam, fraudulent listings, or content that violates our guidelines may be suspended or removed at our discretion.

6. Content moderation

We review startup submissions before publication and rely on user reports to catch issues after publication. We reserve the right to request changes to, reject, suspend, unpublish or delete any listing, and to suspend or delete any account, at our discretion, including where content appears to misrepresent itself as a startup while functioning as a disguised job posting or advertisement.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Simply Startup after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
